I’m a recovering Tech Sector Marketer and a Tiger Mother in Denial. Armed with a creative mind, a pot stirrer’s mentality and an entrepreneurial spirit, I serve to empower others whether in the boardroom or the family room.

A few stops in my career and I realized that creation is in my DNA. I’m a builder, not a runner. I need to be around people and ideas that are dynamic and groundbreaking. Not just in our jobs but every part of our lives. I’ve always loved being part of something that could change everyday life for people. I have always been driven by what could be different and what could be better. Possibility excites me.

I’m also addicted to the human puzzle. That’s the common denominator in a long career. Whether it’s sales, marketing, consulting or coaching, I love trying to understand what it takes to provoke an intended action—aligning what you want with the values you live by to evoke a desired outcome. But it doesn’t happen without a sincere connection to who you are and what you believe in.

CHAPTER one

On my 1000th day at my corporate job, I saw 150 people on their first day who were super excited to be there—I was no longer that person. All I could think was “what would it be to show up like that everyday again?” I’m not naïve enough to think that everyday is a party but we all deserve to be inspired in a way that we look forward to returning day after day. I needed to find what that was.

CHAPTER two

In 2001, after 15 years in the corporate environment, I stepped back. A nine-month sabbatical later, I launched my second chapter, creating opportunities and paths for people like me—working parents who craved time and space for both work and family. I had a long career in technology sales and marketing and an even longer one founding and leading a business strategy consultancy that was nearly 100% female and in the top 5% nationally in revenue for women owned/led small businesses. Most of all, I was proud to know that people on my team rose to where they should be: creating lucrative careers on their terms, being paid what they were worth without sacrificing what they held dearest—life outside work.

CHAPTER three

Now in my third chapter, I coach at all levels, from individuals to the C-Suite. I’ve started and built businesses, taken underdog businesses to winners, led people, and mentored more. I parlay that experience to partner with senior leaders to develop approaches to create impactful businesses with more intentional cultures. I have a never-ending curiosity in the complexity of the human puzzle--our identity, our culture-- born into and learned-- all form the basis for our worldview and grounds how we choose to live our lives.
